Día de Los Muertos Memorial Request

Traditionally celebrated on the 1^st and 2^nd days of November, Día de Los Muertos honors and commemorates the lives of beloved family and community members who have passed away. In celebration and recognition of this cultural festivities, Supervisor Sarmiento will be presenting official County of Orange resolutions to the families of individuals in the Second District that have passed away. He is humbly asking interested community members to nominate their loved ones using the form below.

Santa Ana’s Noche de Altares and Vida la Vida events provide an opportunity for community members to come together to create ‘altares’ that celebrate, remember, and share the stories of those who have departed. Families interested in including their loved ones in the Second District Altar are asked to confirm and sign below.

Memorial requests must be from members within the Second District

Please submit your Memorial Request at least one week in advance of November 2^nd, 2024. This allows the County time to review, approve, and process all requests.
