US-Sino Friendship Association President Simon Pang Donates 500 Tubes of Hand Sanitizer and 4,000 Face Masks to Orange County

On Tuesday, June 9, Michelle Steel, Chairwoman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, accepted a generous donation of face masks and hand sanitizer from Simon Pang, the President of US-Sino Friendship Association. A total of 500 tubes of 4-ounce hand sanitizer and 4,000 disposable face masks were donated to Orange County.

“I am beyond grateful for Mr. Simon Pang to have donated this vital PPE to Orange County,” said Chairwoman Steel “As we navigate out of the coronavirus crisis, we are truly blessed that we have generous individuals like Mr. Pang who care about the well being of the people of Orange County and are willing to make these kinds of donations to protect public health.”

First elected to the Orange County Board of Supervisors in 2014, Michelle Steel represents the residents of the Second District, which includes, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Huntington Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Stanton, the unincorporated area of Rossmoor, and portions of Buena Park and Fountain Valley. Steel, a successful businesswoman and renowned taxpayer advocate, previously served as Vice Chair of the State Board of Equalization where she represented more than eight million people in Southern California, including all of Orange County, as one of the state’s 12 constitutional officers.
